Lesson 4 - 8 Nasty Robbers

Being a parent requires a lot of energy and support. How's your energy level? Do you have lots of energy or do you find yourself dragging during the day?

If you answered ‘dragging during the day’, you may want to ask yourself, "What am I allowing to sap my energy?” It is helpful to be aware that we are in charge of how much energy we have or don't have. There isn't a certain amount that we are allotted by something else. We all have access to boundless energy, and it is up to us to harness it. One way to harness energy is to determine what saps your energy and what gives you energy.

Some things that sap our energy are obvious, like the food we eat, lack of exercise and sleep. Other things that sap our energy that may be less obvious are some of our emotions. Fear, anger, guilt, worry, depression, resentment, blame, and judgment rob your energy, and most importantly, rob you of inner peace.
